    Standing Committee for Ethics, Integrity, and Accountability of Judicial Office Holders

    27.07.2017.

    The Standing Committee for Ethics, Integrity, and Accountability of Judicial Office Holders is responsible for reviewing, providing recommendations, and drafting documents in the areas of ethics, integrity, and accountability, particularly with regard to:

    a. Preparing opinions for the Council on the compatibility of additional activities with the duties of judges and prosecutors;

    b. Providing opinions to the Council concerning complaints submitted by judges and prosecutors who believe their independence has been compromised;

    c. Monitoring the implementation of the Judicial Code of Ethics and the Prosecutorial Code of Ethics, as well as other documents concerning ethics and the prevention of conflicts of interest, and improving their content and application;

    d. Monitoring the implementation of regulations on the submission and processing of financial reports by judges and prosecutors, and enhancing their content and application;

    e. Monitoring the implementation of integrity plans through annual reports submitted by judicial institutions, and proposing measures for improvement;

    f. Drafting acts, instructions, guidelines, and manuals aimed at strengthening the integrity and accountability of judges and prosecutors;

    g. Monitoring the implementation of the Council’s adopted documents and proposing measures to improve disciplinary procedures within the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH).

    The Committee is authorized to independently decide on simpler and uncontested inquiries regarding the compatibility of additional activities with the duties of judges and prosecutors.

    Members of the Standing Committee for Ethics, Integrity, and Accountability of Judicial Office Holders are:

    c. Elma Veledar Arifagić

    d. Duška Bogojević

    e. Sanin Bogunić

    f. Velimir Ninković

    g. Aleksandra Obradović
